Mix the ground pork and ground beef with the pepper and breadcrumbs (gently, don’t over work the meat)
Form into patties
Use your thumb to press down a divot into the middle of the patty. This makes sure the patties don’t bulge in the middle when cooking. - Remember this tip!
Coat with a light coating of canola oil and sea/kosher salt right before putting them on the grill.
Cook for 5-6 minutes a side on high heat for medium-medium rare. Or better yet, get the Meater wireless temperature probe:-)
